Darby was under pressure to produce songs for a movie. Neither Darby nor Pat would not let me into the recording sessions and both complained of writers block and the strain of being under contract. The film was panned by critics and I panned the song “Tunnel” as I was disappointed. I felt the # lacked effort as a whole and the specifically the effectiveness of Darby and Pat’s best writing collaborations. Al Pachino starred in the flick.

Amber brought Darby and I shopping at Posers on a sullen and dreary L.A Monday morning. Dude why are we here, were not Posers”, I questioned Darby. “Shut up and pick something out asshole, Ambers buying it and this stuff is cool,” Darby admonished me. I picked out a bondage belt. This was my first lesson in manipulation of those that wished to be around Darby, they had to pay”-1978 Crashed Memories the book http://gerilewis.wordpress.com/1978-promotional-t-shirt-line/
