The cancellation of the misogynist, exploitive and useless TV show The Playboy Club has been cancelled due to the efforts of anti-pornography organizations and concerned citizens. A major factor in the cancellation of the television program is the complaints to advertisers on NBC, threatening to not buy the advertiser’s products if the show continued to be shown. Pornography is so prevalent in our society that the exploitation, demeaning, objectivication,debasing, degradation, and abuse of women is not only accepted but young women are aspiring to enter into this industry.
