Arbiet macht frie? America, fascism perfected!
Unfortunately I can ask millions of Americans what “Arbiet Macht Frei” means and they have no idea the actual meaning or implication of the German phrase , nor that its ominous phrase was a sign post marking the entrance to doomsday (for millions of Jews and others deemed undesirable by the German Nazi Party) at a horror factory by the name of Auschwitz.
Faces blank as they take the earphones out of petrified, calloused ears, they stare simply cowlike in ignorance.
Sadly 200 million Americans can instantly tell me which no talent celebrity won an idiotic dance show, is in a rehab or won the big game of the week or how many guys the latest poor objectified pornographic “racehorse” did in a “gang bang”.
All you have to do is look to history as history is repeating itself.Look at the period 1928-1942 as well as 1889-1916. Robber Barrons, currency devaluation, war profiteers, famine and poverty the future is all laid out for YOU not the wealthy, they have their enclaves and offshore island sanctuaries
Dont you smell the burning yet? Wafting across the Mediterranean sea , enveloping Big Ben in its cloud of chaos and anarchy. Take a deep breath, let it settle in your throat because that is what is next to be cut. Cut by the corporate “person”. Yeah you didn’t know? Well WAKE UP! The supreme court of the USA ruled that a corporation has the same rights as a person. Can you spell oligarchy? Try it without spell check. You see that? What you ask? Our Children’s education, their humanity, their right to economic and political freedom. Gone. You were to busy watching the big game in alcoholic fueled fervor, gratifying yourself lusting at pornography or captivated childlike by the idiotic reality/ dance TV show. “Clink” feel that? It is a shackle around your mind “Clink! Clink” That sound is the ball and chain around your neck, placed their by immorality, ignorance and greed.
Dig it, American society is at cataclysmic juncture in history. It does not take an economic university major to figure out the way to stimulate the economy is the creation of jobs and to tax the wealthy millionaire and billionaires to raise revenue. Tax cuts and cutting spending is not the way out of the revenue problem. The economic meltdown is by design, don’t buy into Republican rhetoric, blame President Obama or the democratic party for the state of the nation. The blame is squarely on the ultra greedy Republican party policies, LOOK At THE EVIDENCE! Unjustified wars, tax breaks and subsidies to corporations, stealing social security,medicare and medicaid to name a few ways this problem was created. In addition the importation of a shadow labor force to drive down wages, the attack on unions, and the off shore manufacturing of USA based companies has contributed and exasperated the revenue generating problem. That being said where in the name of god is the HOPE the President and the Democratic party promised? The President has to LEAD the nation. Take affirmative and decisive economic ACTION. Creation of JOBS! JOBS! JOBS!
“Click -Clack” that was the sound of the gun at your back when the bailout of the banksters and corporations were paid off for their crimes with our tax dollars. Hahahahaha kekekeke that is the sound of our masters laughing their way to the next robbery. “Arrrrghhh” that is the sound of the moans of your sons, daughters, fathers, mothers and family as they die in far off lands or in Amercian sanctioned and backed drug wars or starve in poverty right here in the “Land O’ Plenty”. American dream? Died in a mockery of idealism that was butchered in a slaughter house in Washington DC.
