Venice All Star show review (from the drivers seat) DTLA RIOT 7/12 /2012

7/12/2012From the onset this was just going to be one of those gigs, first Sal forgot the gig was “this Thursday!”Sal he hauled ass from the Val and made the show but forgot the mics. Usually I’m the one on edge, this time it was Rob. Well I walked up to the Suede Hip Hop gallery were the shop owner had a mic. We commenced to blizting DTLA (am looking @ the LAPD helicopter(s) overhead.) This show was really dynamic in that people were walking or driving by, pulling over in their cars, they would begin to slam around , wave their fists, take pics and move on. Just as Big Lou hit the stage and we broke into “Subliminal” three or four cars pulled over and several people got out. They began flashing their badges etc.Damn it was 21 jump street! I mean the Asian female cop looked to be about 20 years old! They said,You guys are instigating a tense situation! “Well they shut us down but it was fun while it lasted. Thanks All for showing up!  Venic e All stars
