American Guide #141 Boyle Heights Los Angeles CA

I attended California State University as well as worked for L.A County and East Los Angeles is very familiar to me. Did I mention I also had my face reconstructed at USC County General Hospital?  I stopped in at me old fav JimsDSCI0793 for a plate of Huevos Rancheros for old time sake. Bienvenidos is welcome in Spanish and if you know a little bit it will go a long way in East Los. I also dropped in at Otomisan the last traditional Japanese restaurant in Boyle Heights  as well as visited a few Jewish memorials. East Los has a unique and varied history and flavor!
